2045 Long Range Transportation Plan Minor Update 

SPATS staff is currently in the process of working on LRTP Minor Update 2045.

Please review this draft Long-Range Transportation Plan Conceptual Projects List of corridors in Spartanburg County anticipated to need transportation improvements within the next 25 years. This draft was compiled through the Spartanburg Area Transportation Study (SPATS) transportation planning process using congestion and crash data analyses as well as feedback from the public, community groups, and stakeholders. Potential projects are included in the Long-Range Plan until a funding source is identified for programming in the short-term Transportation Improvement Program. 

The SPATS Policy Committee approved the SPATS Conceptual Projects List Memo (attached below) and LRTP updates on August 8, 2022.

Final drafts of all LRTP elements below under consideration by the SPATS Policy Committee is scheduled to take place Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Conference Room 6 at 366 N. Church St. The meeting is open to the public.
